What can I do on Circles?
Quite a lot actually. Pretty much everything you can do on your average, run-of-the-mill social networking platform, such as make a profile, connect with people, have private and group conversations, post content, join events, search for cool stuff and so on. But Circles is a more ambitious platform than that...
We aim to provide something with serious utility for people that want to come together and get things done, without the drawbacks that are part and parcel of a profit-driven platform. Because the less time you spend online and the more time you spend engaging and improving the real world, the better it is for us all.
Challenges for Changemakers
It is still early days on Circles, but we are quite proud of what we've managed to create so far. For instance, if you have a project and need volunteers, you showcase it on our global map and invite people to join. Other members will also be able to find you there and reach out. We have integrated video which allows you to have meetings on Circles and we have also incorporated AI to assist you with a number of tasks.
We are developing an offers and needs type of matchmaking function that will automatically pair people with projects, and in addition to this we will add a resource sharing service. Down the line, we will also integrate crowdfunding into the platform, be it through existing crowdfunding services or through one of our own making. We are also designing a basic task manager that will help you and your team keep track on targets and delivery.

Come for the practical tools, stay for the fun! In the end, it is all about community, about finding your tribe. Our goal is that Circles becomes a full-spectrum toolkit for organisations and networks to deal with their myriad of challenges they face. Be it collective decision making, sharing resources, meeting shared challenges and solving issues together and more, the world needs a state of the art, open-source and co-created platform.
Circles is designed for people to meet, to come together and get things done, both locally and globally. To create stronger bonds within communities and find new connections between communities, creating an ever wider network of people taking on challenges and getting things done together. What those things might be? That is not for us to say. We are merely providing he tools. You get to make the change!

Community is crucial, but it all starts with you. Atoms come together to form molecules, and molecules make the magic happen, but without atoms nothing is possible. Therefore, Circles places the power in your hands and gives you the right to shape your Circles any way you desire.
Though Circles is still a centralized platform, there are no central decrees on what is interesting or valuable. You get to set your own parameters and define who gets to contact you or what they must do to earn your trust and attention.
Circles allows you to create a profile based on your mission and what your gift is to the world. As you contribute, these contributions will be linked to your personal profile, which is why we call it your Presence in the world. The marks you make, the impact you have. As we refine these tools together, with a private and portable repository of all your deeds and relationships, as well as a personal AI that is yours alone, your Presence will become a passport of sorts that opens many doors to new opportunities.
