Donating to the Circles Project

Yes. It still cost money to develop a platform, even if we have lots of volunteers spending hundreds of hours working on the platform and in projects. Developers need to eat, licenses need to be paid, sewrvers need to be kept running. You know the drill... When Circles is fully decentralised, these costs will be quite minor, but for now, we need to keep paying the bills if we are to keep developing Circles together.

All traditional donations are currently accepted by the Social Systems Lab that makes sure that the funds go to where they need to go. 

Soon, it is also possible to become a regular donor to the platform, which will help us keep the light on. This would be our version of a supporting membership. It doesn't give you any extra access to the platform (other than perhaps early access) but you get to vote on where we take Circles next. You also get to invite a friend. The current voluntary membership fee is 5 EUR/USD per person and month.

Would you like to donate cryptocurrencies? We are more than happy to accept them! We will be setting up wallets for all the most commonly used cryptographic currencies. In the interim, feel free to reach out to us for the address to the specific coin you'd like to donate. We don't require any information from you to accept such donations either.
